Research shows that the air quality in the average home is worse than outside your home. The efforts you take to keep you home well insulted are the very things that trap all those contaminants in your home, and in your carpet.
Unfortunately, sprinkling scented powder and using spot cleaners do not remove the substances from your carpet. Having a carpet cleaner use hot water extraction is the best way to remove the contaminants from your carpet. More than 55% of the substances in your carpet are carried in by your feet, pets, and regular traffic.
What do I need to do to prepare for the cleaning?
To better serve you and clean your carpets, you can vacuum the preferred cleaning areas, move furniture you would like moved (we can help with this at your request), secure your pets, and to allow for faster drying time reduce the temperature in the house by 3-5 degrees.
What does your carpet manufacturer recommends?
Your carpet manufacturer recommends professional hot water extraction (also known as steam cleaning) every 12 months.

A truck mount system has more power to remove stains from your carpet.
If I have stains on my carpet, is that included in the price?
The prices include fees to remove 90-95% of all household stains. There are certain Red, Blue, and Pet/Urine Stains that require additional treatment. If your carpet has significant Red or Pet/Urine Stains, there could be an additional charge of $10-$20, depending on the size or area. Our Pricing lists all fees per room which include spot treatments (non-pet urine/red) and deodorizer. These treatments are optional to you and we will explain the difference during the consultation.
Pet Stains are different than other stains. Even if you soak up your little guy or gal's accidents immediately, there are remnants that remain in the carpet/padding. Pet stains contain uric acid which also contains ammonia that get trapped deep within your carpet and further into your padding. Remember that an animals sense of smell is more acute than yours so he/she can detect areas where they've already had an accident and it will reinforce their natural instinct to continue to have accidents.
Our cleaning agents liquefy the uric acid and extract them from your carpet. This requires additional treatment and product applied to your carpet which eliminate the odor and remove the uric acid completely.
What about red stains?
How Often should you clean your carpets?
It is recommended that your carpets be cleaned every six months. Did you know that allergens, dust mites, dirt, pet hair, mold spores and other elements can get trapped in your carpet. For some, it can cause coughing and sneezing. Carpet contain 100 times more allergens that hard floors. [source: e-healthy-homes] It is important to have those removed regularly to maintain your carpets.
Are there hidden fees? Is the price going to change when you show up?
We do not have hidden fees in our prices. The price will only go up if you want more rooms done or would like more services. Our listed price is the price you pay, with the only exception of Pet/Urine Stains and Red Stains. Our Pricing lists all fees per room which include spot treatments (non-pet urine/red) and deodorizer.
